Pumpkin is growing up. She is very playful and does not always realize that her claws and teeth are really sharp! She has taken over H~ pillow at night, she looks like a princess (or queen) all sprawled out on the pillow! The photo was taken by R~.

This week we had our first WW II co-op and it was awesome. The kids all had received draft notices in the mail the week prior. The notices looked really official and some of the kids felt the fear and uneasiness that many Americans must have felt when the notice showed up in their mail boxes.
When we showed up at co-op, they were sent to boot camp. It was such a creative way to start our 8 week journey through WWII. I have been amazed at how much the girls are enjoying the study. We have checked out several books dealing with children and the war and it has allowed the girls to relate to the time period.

I was finally able to give the little one some bangs. She hates for me to put her hair up, so this was the compromise. She also found her belly button this week. She has worn so many onesie like outfits, when she realized she could pull up her dress, it was a whole new world.
