Re: School Is On!

Hannah is showing off her car that she built as part of her science curriculum. She will be using her car the next few weeks for experiments.

Rachel's car is more complex, complete with a motor, so hers will take a few more days to complete.

I had an incredible time at the Homeschool Convention this past weekend. It was so nice to be encouraged and thanked for what we do as homeschooling parents. I attended some workshops on my least favorite subjects: literature and history. I learned a lot and can apply it to our school.

The Exhibit Hall was HUGE! I picked up more of the "Christian Heroes" series, we love them for read alouds. I also purchased a new science curriculum that is designed for the kids to do with minimal help. The girls were so proud of what they built today, by themselves.

I finally purchased the "Accountable Kids" program. I have looked at it for a few years now and after listening to the program creator, I was hooked. We have been using it for the past day and a half and love it, I will keep you posted after the newness wears off.
